PalmFable is designed to analyze your palm photo on your iPhone. This policy describes the current app’s data practices.

Your palm photo is analyzed on your device and is not uploaded.

The full capture is kept in memory for the current reading. When you save a reflection, PalmFable stores only a palm-focused image with the interpreted lines highlighted in the private on-device library.

Overview

PalmFable is a reflective palm-reading entertainment app for iPhone. The current version has no developer-operated account server, advertising, analytics SDK, or third-party tracking technology.

PalmFable’s stories are invitations to reflect. They are not factual personality assessments, predictions, diagnoses, or professional advice.

Palm-photo processing

When you capture a palm photo, PalmFable uses Apple Vision on your device to locate a hand and inspect image contrast within the detected palm area. The app displays image-aligned paths observed in the photo; it does not claim that Vision identifies palmistry lines.

The full captured photo is held in memory during the current reading and is not uploaded to a remote model or cloud service. If you save a reflection, PalmFable creates a cropped palm image with that reflection’s interpreted lines highlighted; the original full capture is not retained.

On-device models and knowledge

PalmFable uses a bundled, reviewed knowledge pack for traditional palmistry terminology and reflection prompts. The app can download an architecture-specific Core AI model hosted by Apple. After PalmFable specializes and caches that model on your device, it may choose a retrieved source or compose a concise answer for a broader chat question. Chat text and model output remain on your device, and reviewed local answers remain available when the model is unavailable.

Data stored on your device

PalmFable can save a reading title, date, excerpt, analysis summary, map method, story source, and palm-focused annotated image in its private local library. Onboarding status and purchase access state are also stored locally. The original full palm capture is not part of a saved reading.

Permissions

Camera

Camera access is requested only when you choose to capture your palm inside PalmFable. The current reading flow does not request access to your photo library.

Consent

PalmFable asks you to capture only your own palm. Do not photograph another person or a minor for use with the app.

Collection and sharing

The current app does not transmit your palm photo, detected landmarks, reading library, or chat questions to PalmFable-operated servers. It does not sell personal data or use data for tracking.

If purchases are enabled in a future release, Apple will process billing through the App Store. This policy will be updated before any materially different data practice is released.

Retention and deletion

You can delete an individual saved reflection and its associated palm image from the library. Removing PalmFable from your iPhone removes the app’s locally stored data according to iOS behavior. A deleted reflection cannot be recovered by PalmFable because there is no developer-operated recovery server.
