Data Collection
Count & Sprout stores child profiles and game progress locally on the device using Apple system storage. This can include the child profile names entered during onboarding, an optional profile picture selected by a parent with Appleās system photo picker, and which garden plots each profile has completed.
This local profile and progress data stays on the device. It is not sent to Count & Sprout, the developer, Apple ID services, RevenueCat, or another third party.
Parents can delete every local child profile, optional profile picture, and game-progress record from Parent Settings. This does not cancel or revoke Apple-managed purchases; eligible purchases can be restored through the parent-only Restore Purchases control.
Apple ID and Device Profile
Count & Sprout does not read the current Apple ID profile name. iPadOS does not provide a child-safe way for the app to silently import that identity, so families create local profiles inside the app.
Accounts
Count & Sprout does not require accounts or sign-in.
Analytics and Tracking
Count & Sprout does not use third-party analytics, advertising identifiers, tracking SDKs, or cross-app tracking.
Advertising and Purchases
Count & Sprout does not show ads. Parents can choose Count Sprout Pro as a lifetime purchase, yearly subscription, or monthly subscription behind the parent gate. Apple processes payment through the App Store. RevenueCat processes an anonymous installation identifier and purchase or subscription status to validate transactions, show parent-only purchase options, restore purchases, and determine Count Sprout Pro access. Count & Sprout does not send a child profile name, profile photo, or local game progress to RevenueCat.
Internet Access
The child-facing game does not require internet access after a valid entitlement has been cached. An internet connection is needed to load current purchase options, make or restore a purchase, and refresh purchase status.
Parent Controls
Parent-facing progress, purchase, restore, subscription-management, and reset controls are kept behind a parent gate.
